It’s the time you Fortnite fanatics have been waiting for – a new action-packed season is here with the release of Fortnite Season 5. The latest iteration of the Battle Royale game is now back with new challenges, new places to explore but most importantly newer and more exciting items to collect and interact with.
Yes, we’re here to talk about the new Mythic items and weapons that you can get in Season 5 of Fortnite and how you can get your hands on them inside the game.

Fortnite Season 5: What are the new Mythic items you can get?
Every season of Fortnite comes with a new load of weapons and interactive items but there are some collectibles that you can only avail after defeating Mythic bosses in this game. In the fifth installment of Fortnite’s seasonal gameplay, you can get the following new Mythic items.
- Amban Sniper Rifle: This weapon can be used in both ranged and melee combats. One cool thing is that the sniper has a thermal scope which can be helpful when killing enemies that are far off. Here are the weapon stats:
Weapon Skill Skill Points Damage 110 Fire rate 0.5 Magazine Size 1 Reload time 2.4 seconds - Mandalorian Jetpack: This jetpack comes with infinite fuel but can only be used for 5 seconds. It takes 10 seconds to refuel. We believe this is a Star Wars-skinned jetpack with special features.
Just like in previous seasons, some of the items that are available here will be revamped versions of existing weapons.
Fortnite Season 5: What are the new Exotic Weapons that you can get?
In addition to Mythic weapons, there is a new category of ‘Exotic’ weapons in Fortnite. This rarity is on par with Mythic weapons but has a clear difference as these weapons can only be purchased. You can purchase ‘Exotic’ weapons using the new bounty mechanic introduced in Season 5 which awards you with Gold Bars. You can then use these Gold Bars to buy new ‘Exotic’ weapons from in-game NPCs. Let’s take a look at all the ‘Exotic’ weapons from Season 5 that have been currently leaked to the public.
- Storm Scout Rifle
- The Nighthawk
- Shadow Trackers
- Boom Sniper Rifle
- The Dub
These weapons were leaked by ‘Mikey‘ who works as a professional data miner for new content in Fortnite. This is an initial sneak peek at the currently available exotic weapons in Fortnite and Epic is expected to add more in the near future.
Note: While the list of weapons leaked by Mikey is mostly accurate, some of the NPCs are incorrectly mentioned. This discrepancy has been taken into account and the correct NPCs for each item have been mentioned below.
How to get all new Mythic items in Fortnite Season 5
To be able to get all the Mythic items in Fortnite Season 5, you need to first reach the location where you can battle the only boss that can get your the aforementioned items. At the time of writing, there’s only one Mythic boss that’s available in the game for you to obtain all these items and that is The Mandalorian.
To get to The Mandalorian, you will need to reach the Razor Crest ship which is located onthe southern side of Colossal Coliseum. The easiest way to get here is by dropping down from the Battle Bus somewhere between Colossal Coliseum and Lazy Lake. Do NOT drop directly onto the ship as you’ll need to pick weapons before the fight.
Once you land near the Razor Crest ship, pick weapons of your choice and get to a higher level just outside the ship. Pretty soon, you’ll find yourself in a duel with The Mandalorian who will be carrying both the Amban Sniper Rifle and Mandalorian Jetpack.
The opponent will have an ample amount of health and one good way to eliminate him will be to use a weapon that has tons of ammo.
After you defeat The Mandalorian, you can grab the Amban Sniper Rifle and Mandalorian Jetpack by looting him and proceed to loot the Razor Chest located inside the ship.
At the time of writing, you can only get your hands on these two weapons as others will soon be up for grabs when new Mythic Bosses are available for the fight.
How to get all the exotic weapons available in Season 5
Note: Exotic Weapons can only be purchased from NPCs in exchange for 1225 Gold Bars. I highly suggest you have this amount handy to get the weapon you are looking for, easily.
Storm Scout Rifle
Sold by: Lexa
Location: Near Hunter’s Haven
You should be able to locate ‘Lexa’ in the building complex in ‘Hunter’s Haven’ pretty easily. Go and talk to her and you should be able to redeem 1,225 Gold Bars in exchange for a Storm Scout Rifle. You can also unlock nearby loot locations by getting a map from Lexa.
The Nighthawk
Sold by: Mancake
Location:Near ‘The Zero Point’
Once you reach near Zero Point, head over to the location shown on the map above and you should encounter Mancake. You will then be able to buy ‘Nighthawk’ from him in exchange for 1,225 Gold Bars.
Shadow Trackers
Sold by:Reese
Location:Near ‘Dirty Docks’
Like other exotic weapons on this list, you can get the ‘Shadow Tracker’ in exchange for ‘1,225’ gold bars. Reese should be located in one of the warehouses near the ‘Dirty Docks’.
Boom Sniper Rifle
Sold by: Splode
Location: Near ‘Graggy Cliffs’
Navigate to the custom marker location on the map above near the ‘Graggy Cliffs’. Once you reach the place, look for ‘Splode’ and you should be able to get the ‘Boom Sniper Rifle’ from him in exchange for 1,225 Gold Bars.
The Dub
Sold by:Dummy
Location:Near ‘Stealthy Stronghold’
This should be a pretty simple interaction as ‘Dummy’ is fairly easy to find. Once you are near the ‘Stealthy Stronghold’, look for the speech bubble and you should be able to spot Dummy from far away. You can then simply purchase the ‘Dub’ in exchange for 1,225 Gold Bars.
