Hi there! If you’ve met me (or even just know me through the blog) you know the place that coffee holds in my heart. Haha but really, I do love it… I have a chalkboard that I like to switch out with different coffee drinks because I like to play barista. Well now there is no playing Barista… Iama Barista! For reals. Christmas came early for me when the new Ninja Coffee Bar®System arrived at my door.

I remember how when I got my first iPhone I couldn’t put it down. Well that’s how I feel playing with myNinja, especially the frother! This thing is legit. There is no calculatingwater to coffee scoop ratios, you just choose 1 of the 6 brew sizes or 5 brew types, scoop in the suggested number of scoops and the Ninja Coffee Bar®System will dispense the correct amount of water from its mega tank.

When trying to decide what to make with my Ninja first, I thought of my favorite little coffee shop that was around the corner from my apartment when I lived in Chicago. They introduced me to one of my favorite coffee drinks, the Dirty Chai Latte. Have you ever had one? It’s a Chai Latte with a shot of espresso in it. Ahhhh yes, so good!!! Since it’s holiday time, I decided I would break in my Ninja Coffee Bar®System with a Dirty Chai Latte with Eggnog (full printable recipe below).

First I added coffee and the contents of a Chai tea bag into the built-in filter.

Look ↓! There’s a cute little booster seat for my coffee cup! 😉 I’m the only coffee drinker in the house so I love that I can make a single serve cup easily with the Ninja. I used the specialty brew setting for the Dirty Chai Latte; it’s the most concentrated serving and while it was brewing it smelled like my favorite coffee shop in Chicago! Isn’t it so amazing how the memory of a smell can capture a time in your life?

I heated up the eggnog and poured most of it to the dirty chai. Can we talk about this swirl of creaminess? ↓ I’m inspired to start practicing coffee art now! 😉

I could notwaitto get my hands on the built-in hot and cold frother! I created froth out of the remaining eggnog and spooned it on top of the Eggnog Dirty Chai Latte.

You guys. I may or may not have squealed a little when I saw this beautiful frothy top. I couldn’t stop admiring it!
